UrbaCore’s success is largely based on the screening and acceptance of applicants who fit the criteria or mold of UrbaCore’s mission.  This part is extremely critical, and highly competitive.  UrbaCore offers an excellent opportunity to obtain “real-life” work experience, training, education, and a promising career.  All applicants are required to fill out an UrbaCore application which includes complete work history, education background, extracurricular activities, along with computer interest and background.  They will also be required to complete several writing samples, and have two references fill out a recommendation form.  After these items are received, they will be reviewed by the UrbaCore Admissions Committee.  The Admissions Committee will then decide who to call back for an interview with the Admissions Committee of UrbaCore.  After that interview, the Admission Committee will make a decision to invite the candidate back to complete some testing.
